Great American Celebration
Fantasy Insight-Daytona International Speedway
By Dennis Michelsen
The Fourth of July holiday is here and there are certain things that you can't do without to celebrate. You need meat to grill on the BBQ, some of Mom's apple pie, some fireworks, and of course the Firecracker 400 at Daytona! Yes I know it's been a long time since we called this race the Firecracker 400 but the racing is still a staple of our celebration. Racing at night just adds to the spectacular with the cars sparking up the night sky and the cool special paint jobs a sight to behold. So head down to your local market and get some juicy t-bones or some yummy bratwurst and get ready to celebrate. Our great country is turning one more year older and it is time to party! Join us on www.racetalkradio.com tonight for our own unique celebration and fireworks show. Good luck with your fantasy racing picks.

Fantasy Racing by the Numbers
My unique Power Ratings are back and better than ever for 2007! Combining the three most important factors the numbers never lie. Separate the pretenders from the contenders each week with track type, horses for courses, and consistency factored into one easy to use Power Rating. The key numbers to remember are 80 and 250. A rating of 80 is an acceptable risk for any of the individual ratings and 250 is the cut off for the complete Power Rating. Drivers topping these minimums have a much higher percentage of top ten finishes over the past three seasons! (Only drivers meeting the minimum will be shown in the individual ratings with the top 25 for Power Ratings shown)
