Monster Playoff Mashing
Fantasy Insight-Dover 2
By Dennis Michelsen
What a contrast racing at Dover this week after that snooze
festival at New Hampshire! Very few tracks strike fear
into the hopes of Championship contenders more than Dover
Downs. Accidents that seem safely behind you here end
up coming around quickly to bite ya in the end. The Monster
lives and seems to reach out and grab guys when they least
expect it. So far in Car of Tomorrow races the Bow Tie
Brigade has been tops. Only Carl Edwards flipping good
time at Bristol and Juan Pablo's fuel mileage run have
been able to beat the Chevy brand at CO2 races this year.
With Hendrick, Gibbs, and RCR teams clicking right now
I am not sure that dominance will be challenged this week
at Dover. But down the stretch I will pick one non-chase
team in my picks every week and this week the honor goes
to Ryan Newman. Good luck with your fantasy picks this
week and tune in at www.racetalkradio.com
Wednesday night for more Fantasy Insight information!

Fantasy
Racing by the Numbers
My unique Power Ratings are back and better than
ever for 2007! Combining the three most important factors
the numbers never lie. Separate the pretenders from the
contenders each week with track type, horses for courses,
and consistency factored into one easy to use Power Rating.
The key numbers to remember are 80 and 250. A rating of
80 is an acceptable risk for any of the individual ratings
and 250 is the cut off for the complete Power Rating.
Drivers topping these minimums have a much higher percentage
of top ten finishes over the past three seasons! (Only
drivers meeting the minimum will be shown in the individual
ratings with the top 25 for Power Ratings shown)
