"I'm really excited about this great opportunity
that Ken Wills and everyone at 5K has given me,"
said the enthusiastic Stump. His fifth place finish
last season in the Challenge Division standings included
four top five finishes. This twenty-six year old from

or small.
Derek
Thorn
This twenty year old from Lakeport, California had an
impressive start to his ASA Late Model Series career
last season posting two top five finishes in his only
two starts. Derek raced his way out of the obscurity
of the bullrings of Northern California to lead 137
laps at Nashville last season. His runner up finish
at the season ending All American 400 weekend has put
competitors on notice that 2007 will be an exciting
year for Derek Thorn!
Alex
Kennedy
Alex Kennedy is not old enough to drive
to Sonic to get a cheeseburger, but this fifteen year
old from Aztec, New Mexico can wheel a Late Model stock
car around the track! Featured on ESPN's "Outside
the Lines" last year, Alex was the youngest driver
ever to post a top five in the United States Late Model
Association circuit last season. This year Alex Kennedy
gets the promotion to the ASA Late Model Series Northern
